I am curious what PICs each of you uses.
I use primarily 12F675 and 16F684.
12F675: great little chip with tons of features and is easy to use.
16F684: also each to use but more IO pins / memory means it can do more complicated stuff that the 12F675 cannot, like driving LCDs.
16F886: the bare minimum to drive GLCD.
16F1936: lots of features, and large memory. I just started using it and so far really liked it. It is likely my choice of chips for complicated stuff going forward.

For those like programming in C, PIC12 or PIC16 are not their cup of tea. I love those small byt yet powerful uC but I am not too comfortable to program in assembly, though PIC features one of the easiest assembly language in its class.
By the way, are you living in Southern California now?
